Graphite is one of minerals from carbon (C) crystallize.Graphite and diamond both are carbon with multi forms (Polymorphism). It performs 1~2 degree of hardness and2.23 of special gravity. It has good electrical and thermalconductivity. Graphite also has lubricating ability and fire resistance. Graphite is very difficult to oxidize and occur achemical reaction with any kind of acid. It has great stability even under extremely high temperature. Its fusionpoint is as high as 3000 ℃.

~Graphite has congenital on the lattice imperfection. Therefore,
the thermal conductivity could not possible reach as much of
theoretical value 1000 ~2,000 W/ (m.K).
~The lattice imperfection -- crystal lattice will have gap without
completion. Thermal conductivity path can be broken by the gap
and decrease its conductivity. Also graphite will not be impossible
to align to certain direction accordingly. The chances to be
completely parallel or vertically is impossible during process. it is
random distribution, sometime is 2,000 W/ (m.K) or 667 W/ (m.K),
but the average value is 600~800 W/ (m.K).
